With a cycle tour that starts in magnificent downtown Montreal exploring historic “Old Montreal”, taking you to the former rail trails into the Laurentian mountains, along lush streams, rivers, hills and valleys.

(Little Train of the North) Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Old Montreal and Lachine Canal – (Distance 26Km)
Difficulty – Easy
Meals – Lunch and Dinner
Our tour begins at 9:00am at Auberge du Vieux-Port - Expérience Vieux-Montréal (experienceoldmontreal.com)_Hotel. Here you will meet your guides for the week ahead. Once gathered and fitted you will be taken to the start of our 1st cycling day, “Old Montreal”. As you pedal through the narrow streets of Old Montreal, you'll encounter many beautiful squares and historical buildings, such as Notre Dame Cathedral. Finally, we’ll conclude your bike ride near the Lachine Rapids,where you will witness the mighty St. Lawrence River rushing through a narrow channel. (Shuttle to Mont-Laurier)
Day 2: Mont-Laurier to Nominingue - (Distance 55 km).
Difficulty – Easy to Intermediate
Meals – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
This section of the trail stretches approximately 55 kilometres, offering a scenic journey filled with natural beauty. As you pedal along the well-maintained path, you'll be surrounded by lush forests, tranquil lakes, and stunning river views. The trail follows the former railway line, adding a touch of history to your ride.
Day 3: Nominingue to Mont-Tremblant - (Distance 60km)
Difficulty – Easy
Meals – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
As you set off, you'll find yourself surrounded by dense forests and beautiful lakes, creating a calming atmosphere for your ride. The trail is well maintained and mostly flat, making it suitable for cyclists of all skill levels.
Heading south, your first stop will be the village of Labelle. Here, you can take a break and visit the old train station converted into an art museum. We will continue through the countryside of rolling hills and vibrant green landscapes. All of which bring us to the hidden beauty of the town of Mont Tremblant.
Day 4: Mont-Tremblant Loop Ride – (Distance 38km or 50km)
Difficulty – Easy
Meals – Breakfast
After breakfast we will set off on a morning loop ride from Mont-Tremblant. We will explore along the resort's extensive network of trails, taking in the beautiful natural scenery.
Returning around lunch time, you will have the opportunity on your own to explore the resorts many offerings. Whether it’s swimming, golfing, the spa or just strolling around the little resort town at your leisure, you will breathe in the clean mountain air and embrace the laissez-faire atmosphere.
Day 5: Mont-Tremblant to Sainte-Agathe der Monts- (Distance 45 km)
Difficulty – Easy to Intermediate
Meals – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
The bike ride from Tremblant to Sainte-Agathe is a picturesque journey that offers beautiful scenery and charming stops along the way.
As you pedal through the peaceful countryside, you'll catch glimpses of crystal-clear lakes and rolling hills. One of the highlights of this route is Lac des Sables, a stunning lake nestled in the heart of Sainte-Agathe.
Finally, we will finish our ride at the notable Stone Haven Manor Estate, that exudes charm and elegance. This historic manor is surrounded by manicured gardens, offering a captivating glimpse into the region's past.
Day 6: Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts to Saint Jérôme - (Distance 50 km)
Difficulty – Easy
Meals - Breakfast
After an unforgettable evening at the Manor, you'll hop on your bicycle for the last leg of the tour. This section of the trail is narrower and built on hard-packed gravel. Having kept the trail to a quasi-natural state provides a peaceful ride proving to be one of our favourite parts of the tour. The trail continues through beautiful landscapes, crossing over rivers and passing by stunning viewpoints, as we arrive in Saint Jérôme.
After arriving in Saint Jérôme, your guides will load your bikes and we will begin our shuttle back to old Montreal. (Approximately 1 hour)
