Truth to tell, Pedal & Sea Adventures is a small — but capable, and experienced, adventure touring company based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada! We don’t want to be the largest, but we strive to be the best! After becoming established in our home province over 20 years ago, we began offering bicycle tours throughout Atlantic Canada and sharing one of the world’s best places for travelers in need of a little R&R — riding and relaxation.

Pedal & Sea Adventures has grown from its humble beginnings, becoming an international tour company which will do over 100 tours in 2024. Our guest experience and philosophy has resulted in many happy people who come back and tour with us again. Pedal & Sea Adventures can boast an almost 80% guest retention rate (the industry standard is less than 30%). Our guests are our best marketers, and we are proud and grateful to them!

From the very first season when Dana Gallant, our founder, was offering just two Nova Scotia tours, Pedal and Sea Adventures grew every year. Now in nine countries and offering 100+ tour dates, we have not strayed from the core focus of taking very good care of our customers for this tour, and their next!

Pedal & Sea Adventures is excited about its upcoming season and future.  With Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland tours well entrenched and sought year after year, we are launching new tours in Quebec during 2024 and then our sights are set on expansion to Western Canada.  In Europe, we are in eight countries and regions: Ireland, Azores, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia. Our Bike & Boat tours in Croatia are our European crown jewel experience with seven different tours offered!
